Welcome friends, feel free to look around, make comments and whatnot. I'll try and keep this thing updated with interesting pics, stories and other odds & ends. Feel free to criticize, but please share the 'truth in love'. No reason to be purposefully offensive. Enjoy!

No Place Like Home

Hello All,

Every once in a while it’s important to take a step back and breathe a little. You know, put down the shovel, wipe the sweat from your brow and look at the beauty all around and realize one pervasive thing: This is temporary.
I know I need to remind myself to apply that same thinking when it comes to blogging: I can get so persistently passionate with ‘progress’ that I disregard ‘promise’.

There's No Place Like Home

Life isn’t always good, But God is good without fail.
His work has prepared for us a place
That not a tongue can tell.
Lest we forget the simple truth;
Our Father’s on His thrown.
And His Word promises a rest for us
We’ll rest when we get Home.
Not a house like where we may be tonight
Making tomorrow’s plans.
A place like nothing we’ve ever seen,
A Home made without man’s hands.
No concerns for home insurance,
Or the hassle of homeowner fees.
His promises provide our daily assurance.
His Joy is to put our hearts at ease.
A day is coming when we’ll no longer say
So much to do, yet so little time.
I patiently wait to cherish that day
There’ll be no more mountains to climb.
No more headaches or strenuous work
No chores of which to speak
And Ah!!! Imagine the very thought
Of ‘No more spiritually weak’
Up close and personal with Our God and His Christ
No more sadness of being alone
As much as I enjoy the blessings of “here”
I know that there’s no place like Home.

Here’s the Word:

Hebrews 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

In Him,
Cros
