Only one adequate plan has ever appeared in the world, and that is the Christian dispensation.

Wednesday's Word

Welcome friends, feel free to look around, make comments and whatnot. I'll try and keep this thing updated with interesting pics, stories and other odds & ends. Feel free to criticize, but please share the 'truth in love'. No reason to be purposefully offensive. Enjoy!

Out Loud!

Hello All

There’s an issue about the change that occurs in your heart
when you confess the Lordship of Christ.
His indwelling Spirit sparks a wonderful start
to a life blessed with purpose- precise
You’re no longer an enemy, your God is now close.
You’re adopted by the Father of Lights
As I live now with Him in me, should I focus on most;
The idea of just trying to be nice?

Some people contend that the means to an end
is to acknowledge Him deep down inside
And quietly trust Jesus as your very best Friend
But not speak about Him as Guide
It’s not wrong to see Him as “friend” but He sends
Us to proclaim the truth of His strife
To a world that stands accused and condemned
We point the way to new life

Think back to His tactics, this great love God showed
Born a babe for the whole world to see
As the presence of a star that hovered and glowed
Over the Son, sent to set sinners free
He became our sin-bearer, on His shoulders He bore
The judgment of our iniquity
He obediently paid the full debt that WE owed
As He publicly died on that tree

So shout of God’s love, and never refrain
Never think to shrink back in the crowd
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so that “He reigns”
God has kept the promise He vowed
Now He wants all to know that He’s coming again
Ripe fields will be harvested and plowed
So don’t keep His Love clinched in your hands
Shine your light and His love out loud.

Here’s The Word;

Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

In Him,
Cros
